Dogs are innately stubborn that sometimes their fur parents can’t persuade them to perform a particular task. No matter how urgent such activity is, our canine pals won’t accede, especially if it inconveniences them.
Thus, one tenacious Newfoundland refuses to budge from its spot when Mom mops the floor. Despite Mom’s subtle hinting, nothing can persuade the doggo to obey and let Mom finish cleaning.
Samson, can you move just a little bit to the side, please?
In this comically adorable footage, a brown-furred Newfoundland named Samson sits on their wooden floor. It seems Samson’s merely taking a respite from an energetic activity when Mom suddenly intrudes on his peaceful moment.
Soon enough, Mom extends a mop head beneath the Newfoundland’s furry body. With the way things look, Mom’s cleaning the floor to make it look spotless.
Yet, Mom can’t accomplish this chore as Samson’s blocking the way. Thus, Mom mops the adjacent areas to hint to him that he needs to move.
Sorry, Mom. Ain’t moving from here.
Mom even comments that there’s only one spot left for her to clean. But, when the witty doggo merely stares blankly at her, Mom lightly pushes the mop head against Samson’s paws to once again persuade him to move.
Ever the adamant canine, Samson still refuses to budge from his resting spot. Thus, Mom decides to politely ask the Newfie if he can move for a second.
With this, Mom pauses for a little while to wait for Samson’s response. But, when the Newfie merely stares at her with a don’t-mess-with-me look, Mom quickly backs down and resumes cleaning the floor around Samson.
