For most humans, a dog is more than just a pet. It’s a constant companion and is almost like a family member.
Now imagine getting your dog stolen. It would be anyone’s worst nightmare, wouldn’t it?
Unfortunately, a man named Greg Siesczkiewicz had his beloved dog Titus stolen out of his car. He was completely devastated and didn’t know if he would ever see his furry friend again.
The local police posted the camera footage from the dognapping incident on social media in hopes that a kind person would locate the man and the stolen pup soon. Just a few hours later, both Titus and his dognapper were identified by a smart reporter near the same spot the pooch had been taken from.
Juliana Mazza from News TV was on the street, covering the dog napping incident, when she spotted the same man from the video surveillance walking the dog nearby.
She quickly remembered where she had seen them. Noting the man looked just like the person in the security cameras the police had shown, and the pooch looked exactly like the lost dog named Titus that the policemen were looking for.
Mazza knew she had to think and act quickly to save the dog. So she asked if she could pet the man’s dog to get a better look at the dog tag. This way, she could confirm if it was, in fact, Titus.
She then asked the suspicious man some questions, which he seemed baffled by, and the answers just didn’t add up.
Eventually, Mazza had enough and decided to call the police.
Minutes later, the police arrived at the scene and arrested the dognapper. He was accused of larceny and also, breaking into a motor vehicle. Thankfully, Titus was reunited with his true owner.
